Team Faith are taking part in Luton’s first Pretty Muddy event for Cancer Research UK, on Saturday, June 21, at Stockwood park.
Pretty Muddy is a women-only, non-competitive 5K obstacle course, with mud.
Team Faith are 13 ladies from SupportingFaith, a non profit organisation set up for Faith Simms, Luton and Dunstable hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Children’s Heart Federation and Downs Syndrome Association.
Team Faith said: “We want to help raise money for Cancer Research, we are so grateful for everyone’s support and generous donations. We are looking forward to Pretty Muddy, it should be challenging and fun, we hope to raise £500.”
Cara Waller, Cancer Research UK’s Luton event manager, said: “I’m very excited about holding this exhilarating new event for the first time in Stockwood Park.
“Whether walking, running or climbing covered in mud, what’s inescapable is the power and strength that comes from thousands of women joining together to confront cancer.
