It's a royal affair at Betty Dodd Court
The royal seal of approval was given to Luton's Betty Dodd Court today, January 28, as HRH Prince Edward visited to officially open the sheltered housing scheme.
The Earl of Wessex drove himself to the new building in Grange Avenue, Leagrave, where he was met by local dignitaries and Betty Dodd's daughters Heather Fletcher and Carolyn Briggs.
He took the time to speak to the residents and staff, before unveiling a gold plaque in the lounge and giving a short speech.
