Proposals for mass house building on rural land to the east of Luton have surfaced again – but this time have come from the authority that previously opposed the idea.

North Herts District Council has listed the East of Luton, bordering Wigmore, as one of seven possible ‘strategic sites’ for building 1,000 or more homes.
