X Factor Beverley in solo show

Talent show singer's one-night gig

Luton's X Factor songbird Beverley Trotman is performing in a one-woman show this summer - for one night only.

The 38-year-old schoolteacher will take to the Gordon Craig Theatre stage alone on August 2.

And Beverley, who lives in the New Town area, can't wait.

She said: "I think it's quite exciting and I'm being supported by the very choir that I helped in the beginning - Luton Community Gospel Choir."

It will be Beverley's first solo show since she left the X Factor, although she has recently appeared at the Christian festival Spring Harvest, and will be performing four tracks at the Heart FM Spotlight Awards on Sunday, May 4.

But the mum-of-two is no stranger to large crowds, having just completed the X Factor tour, with 27 shows in national arenas.

Wembley Arena was also a huge high for Beverley, who had 40 of her friends and family cheering in the crowd.

And as well as spending the majority of her time exploring her singing, Beverley is also now working as a supply teacher part-time at St Margaret Of Scotland Junior School in Rotherham Avenue.

Catch Beverley at the Gordon Craig Theatre, Stevenage, on August 2.

For tickets, priced 16.50, call the box office on 08700 131 030.
