One of Luton’s leading charities for homeless and vulnerable youngsters was hailed by the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis, as “an excellent example of an organisation totally committed to helping and supporting young people stand on their own two feet.”

Mrs Nellis was visiting Mary Seacole Housing Association’s homeless accommodation and training unit.

She said: “I was very moved and impressed by their work.”
