Two Home Leone members of staff are preparing to jump 10,000ft out of a plane to raise money for the charity.

Rachel Cobb, the UK Operations manager, and Heather Baker, the charity shop manager, will be doing the charity skydive on Friday, August 14, at Hinton Skydive centre.

They will be raising money for the charity that aims to help the people in Sierra Leone’s slums get rehoused and transform their lives.

Rachel, of Wigmore, said: “Heather and I have both visited Sierra Leone this year and we have seen the scale of poverty, we wanted to do something to help raise money and decided to do a sponsored sky dive .

“I think Home Leone are doing really important things in Sierra Leone, so I am happy to be doing this and supporting them. Neither of us have done anything like this before so we are both excited and nervous but very happy to support a great cause!”

They are hoping to raise £1000 for the charity.
