Charlie’s Angels were among 10 teams that took part in a quiz night in aid of Age Concern Luton.

The event at St John’s Hall in Sundon Park, Luton, raised more than £500 for the charity.

The six-strong Charlie’s Angels team was fielded by Picton’s law firm.

Partner Siobhan Rooney said: “ACL staff and volunteers are totally dedicated to making the lives of older people in Luton so much better.

“It was a fun night but also incredibly moving when we acknowledged all the inspiring volunteers in the room.”

ACL chief executive Colette McKeaveney said: “It’s thanks to companies like Pictons that we are able to help more than 3,000 senior people in our community.”
She added: “OUr new shop in George Street has been a big success.

“I’d like to encourage everyone to drop in and see our wonderful bargains.”
