Friends and family of Leigha Edwards, who passed away in December 2013, are holding a fundraiser at Lewsey Football Club on Saturday, in her memory.
The annual event celebrates her life and raises money for Luton and Dunstable hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Leigha’s friends and family decided to raise money for the NICU because she wanted to be a neonatal nurse.
Paula Embleton, Leigha’s mum, said: “I am so grateful to all that have donated so far, we will all continue to make Leigha proud by making this years event the best yet.”
During the day there will be something for everyone from face painting and tarot readings, to a henna artist and a raffle.
This is the third time the fundraiser has been held and this year there will be an evening event at The Ivory Lounge, Dunstable.
There will be two floors of music and several DJs will be performing throughout the night.
Over the last two years over £3000 has been raised for the NICU at the Luton and Dunstable hospital.
Tickets for the day event which starts at 12pm are £2 for adults and 50p for children over 5, the evening event starts at 10pm and tickets are £10.
