Year 5 students from primary schools across Luton took part in an art competition organised by Lea Manor High School. The challenge was to draw a picture of themselves, showing what they would like to be in the future.

First prize for the winner and their whole year group is a day of art and creativity with professional artist Kirsten Jones, artist in residence at Lea Manor High school.

The jury were torn between two pieces for the top slot, and awarded a joint first prize to Shupi Ahmed from Beechwood primary school for her creatively collaged ‘Explorer’ image and Dominic Paul from Icknield primary school who drew a fabulous footballer. The winners are:
