Sainsbury’s in Bury Park, Luton, is looks for local singing groups and residents to perform at their store

It’s part of a national carol singing event hosted at Sainsbury’s stores across the country on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14.

The Bury Park branch is encouraging residents, professional choirs, singing families, friends, schools, charities and community clubs to sign up and spread festive cheer.

By taking part, the carol singers will have the option to raise funds for Happy Days Children’s charity, or funds for themselves, if they are a registered charity.

Ryan Brightman, Sainsbury’s Luton HR Manager said: ‘’We’re really looking forward to welcoming local residents and groups in store to bring some festive cheer with a weekend of carol singing. I’m sure our customers will enjoy the extra sprinkle of Christmas spirit, and may even find themselves hamming along as they shop.’’

Local residents and groups will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
