The Club and Nisa Local organised a Christmas meal on Wednesday, December 17, for the people of Lewsey Farm that live in sheltered homes.
Residents from Applegrove, Ravenhill, Centenary Court, Pastures Way and Wheatfield Road homes were invited to The Club for Christmas lunch and entertainment.
Members of staff from the pub and shop helped serve the lunch and Danny Glass provided the entertainment for the afternoon.
Scott Jell, Nisa Local store manager, said: “We wanted to organise an event to get the community together, we wanted to give the people in the five homes an afternoon out, we wanted them to enjoy a meal and dance.
“It went very well, lots of good feedback from those that attended, they all loved the food and entertainment, he was really good, everyone loved him and everyone got up and had a dance.”
One resident from Applegrove said: “It is amazing what both businesses have done, a lovely thing, they even came and collected us and took us home, I have had a great afternoon.”
