Students at Central Bedfordshire College have taken part in The Public Services Charity Walk.

The group on The Public Services Course started out from Creasey Park at 9.30am on Wednesday, December 16, walking to Dunstable Downs, Whipsnade Tree Cathedral and back to Creasey Park during the afternoon, in aid of the local Kids in Action charity.

Kids in Action, based in Dunstable, is a charity providing sporting and social activities, day trips and holidays for children, young people and young adults with disabilities and special needs. They also provide subsidised caravan holidays and provide outreach activities in other areas.

The charity has been operating since 1996 and runs its own centre and provide weekly, daily and school holiday activities. Over the next few years we are looking to open three more centres in different parts of the UK. Visit www.kidsinaction.org.uk
