LAMP, a youth homelessness charity, raised £6,644 at the annual sleep out at St Albans Abbey on Friday, December 4.
The sleep out raises awareness of homelessness and raises money for several local homelessness charities.
Helen Snowden, LAMP’s fundraising officer, said: “Fifty seven people slept out for us, aged from nine to 61.
“We are really grateful to be able to go the extra mile for our young people this Christmas.
“Thank you to all the supporters, staff and trustees who take part year after year and for whom it has become part of their Christmas tradition and to everyone who sponsored them. It is still our biggest fundraiser of the year.
“It was an extremely windy night, bags and cardboard were blowing everywhere and one of our group has wind burn!
“A special mention to Ramridge Baptist Church youth group who insisted on coming again this year even though it was not in the plans.”
