Twin brothers from Luton wanted by Hertfordshire Police in connection with kidnap

Two twin brothers are wanted by police following a kidnap.

Atif and Amer Iqbal, both aged 23 and of Weatherby Road, Luton, both have links with the Luton, Harpenden and St Albans areas.

They are wanted in connection just after midday on Tuesday, February 21, when a man was allegedly taken against his will in a vehicle in Sparrows Wick Rise, St Albans.

The victim was later found by police with minor injuries.

The alleged offenders and the victim are believed to be known to each other.

Anyone who sees either brother or knows of their whereabouts is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101.

Five people have been arrested in connection with this incident and have been police bailed.

Another person, who was arrested in connection with this incident, has been released with no further action.

Waqaas Hussain, aged 20, of Weatherby Road, Luton, has been charged with kidnap and affray. He is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on March 24.
