UPDATE: Woman airlifted to hospital after '˜serious' M1 crash
A woman in her 60s has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the M1 this morning.
The motorway was closed in both directions between junctions 11 and 12 on the northbound carriageway from 7.10am.
The motorway has reopened but delays remain.
