A 52-year-old woman that was injured during a collision with a car has died in hospital, 19 days after the incident.

Bozena Wysocka, of Vernon Road, Luton, was left in critical condition after the collision on London Road, on Tuesday, October 28.

She was taken to the Royal London hospital by Hertfordshire Air Ambulance.

She passed away on Sunday, November 16, after suffering a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury.

Ms Wysocka never regained consciousness after being taken to hospital.

An inquest into her death began on Wednesday, November 19, and has been adjourned until April 15, 2015, where a full inquest will take place.

The Police investigation into the collision on London Road is ongoing.
