Bouts lined up for Putney

LUTON journeyman Gavin Putney has had his next two bouts lined up.

The 33-year-old welterweight, who has won two and lost 10 of his 12 pro fights, will face Charlie Thompson (2-0-1) at Doncaster Dome on March 2. Call 07976 328015 for tickets.

He is then due to fight Mark Coombs (5-0-0) at the Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth, on March 17.
