Devine will let his fists do the talking against Deakin

LUTON boxer Michael Devine will do his talking in the ring when he takes on Robin Deakin at the Brentwood Centre in Essex on Saturday, writes Mike Simmonds.

Deakin, 26, who has won one and lost 46 of his pro bouts, has taken to Twitter to throw insults at Devine ahead of the weekend's bout, which is on the Audley Harrison versus Ali Adams Redemption or Retirement bill.

Devine, who has six wins and one defeat from seven bouts, said: "He's talked a lot of trash and as I'm getting older now, I'm keeping my head.

"I've sparred with him before and I know that he cuts corners and doesn't take his training seriously."
