Complacency needs to be stamped out says Craddock
Strikers need to step up to the plate
Any complacency in the Hatters' ranks needs to be stamped out according to striker Tom Craddock.
The 23-year-old forward climbed off the bench to score the decisive goal in Town 3-2 win at Hayes & Yeading on Saturday, but was unhappy with the way Luton almost threw away victory in a game they had directed throughout.
He said: "Sometimes we take our foot off the gas a little bit and get a little bit complacent and if we want to get promotion we need to cut that out of our game.
"We've been punished a few times this season but thankfully not today."
And he knows that both himself and the others strikers at Kenilworth Road need to start finding the net more regularly.
He continued: "We haven't been scoring enough goals as we should as a team. He's (Richard Money) asked the strikers to step up to the plate and hopefully we can do that in the next few games and until the end of the season.
"I'm happy to get myself on the scoresheet. It's 11 now. I'm still not happy with that at all. I should have had more but I've played a lot out wide."
