Ex-Town defender Shane Blackett has signed for near neighbours Arlesey Town.

The 29-year-old made 51 appearances during an injury-plagued spell at Town, but has been confirmed as part of Arlesey’s squad.

Director of football at the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division side, Gary King, said: “I am pleased to announce we have been mostly successful in recruiting the players we have gone after.”
