Brill expecting a ding-dong battle with Tyler for Town shirt
Returning Luton keeper Dean Brill
RETURNING keeper Dean Brill is anticipating a right old ding-dong battle with Mark Tyler for the goalkeeper’s jersey at Kenilworth Road this season, writes Mike Simmonds.
Tyler was put under pressure by Kevin Pilkington last season, ultimately losing his place to the former Manchester United stopper, and admitted it had helped him reach a new level of consistency.
Brill signed a two-year deal on Tuesday afternoon and is now concentrating on pushing the Hatters number one all the way this term.
