Buckle considers Rowe-Turner appeal

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner

Town boss Paul Buckle will consider appealing Lathaniel Rowe-Turner’s red card at Barrow on Saturday, writes Mike Simmonds.

The defender was shown a straight red in the closing stages after tangling with goalscorer Adam Boyes, but Buckle said: “Lathaniel did nothing to him, absolutely nothing.

“As far as I can see and I was right down the line, there was nothing in it and he’s sent him off. I hope so (appeal it), I’ll have a look at it, but I never saw a red card coming.

“I didn’t think it was a dirty game. I think at times we got a bit desperate in our challenge but it was a case of us gifting them a goal and them holding on to it for the rest of the game.”
