Striker Danny Crow lines up for Luton last season

NOT winning promotion at Luton Town was the most frustrating aspect of striker Danny Crow’s two years at Kenilworth Road, writes Mike Simmonds.

The former Cambridge frontman was released by Paul Buckle last month after seeing Town lose in successive play-off finals since joining the club.

Crow said: “The main thing that hurt was that I didn’t play a part in taking them higher. We came so close both seasons and I played a major part in that, but unfortunately we just couldn’t do that extra bit to go up.”
