Hard graft will set the Hatters apart

Digging deep and grinding out away wins will be key for the Hatters to realise their promotion ambitions according to new skipper Ronnie Henry, writes Mark Wood.

The 28-year-old defender enjoyed consecutive promotions out of the Conference and League Two during his time at Stevenage and believes staying strong at unwelcoming venues could be a telling fact.

He said: “It’s hard work, you’ve got to battle, there are some tough away games.

“It’s all well and good playing at Kenilworth Road in front of the big crowd, but when the chips are down you have to dig in away from home.

“There’s tough places like Barrow and those wins are really important.”
