Kidderminster call on fans for Luton clash

KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have called on supporters to help clear the snow from the covers to enable tonight’s FA Trophy clash with Luton Town to go ahead.

The match is scheduled to take place at Aggborough this evening after it was called off on Saturday and a statement on the club’s official website said: “Harriers would be grateful for any help supporters could give in getting Aggborough ready for tonight’s game against Luton Town in the FA Trophy.

“The vast majority of the playing surface - currently still under frost covers - is in good condition.

“However on top of the covers sits a considerable weight of the remaining snow and ice from the last couple of days - help is needed to gently remove this before the covers can be taken off.

“Elsewhere the club are again using heaters to tend to the only problem areas of the pitch down towards the South Stand.

“Anyone with a pair of hands and time to spare is welcome - though assistance is ideally needed this morning rather than later in the day.”
