Town’s Trophy starlets hailed by Broughton
Town youngsters Jerry Nash, Charlie Smith, Brett Longden, Leeroy Maguraushe, Colby McAdams and Jake Woolley
PROUD Hatters youth development officer Gregg Broughton has hailed Town’s starlets who have helped them through to the last 16 of the FA Trophy.
Saturday’s third round tie against Kidderminster Harriers may have been postponed, but the pair are set to try again at Aggborough tonight.
Seven of Luton’s up-and-coming youngsters have already been involved in the first team squad as they’ve battled past Swindon Supermarine and Hinckley United, after a replay, in the first two rounds.
Broughton is hoping that they will continue to be given their opportunities during the season as they had all impressed him in their own way.
For Broughton’s thoughts on the progress of Charlie Smith, Jake Woolley, Jerry Nash, Colby McAdams, Brett Longden and Leeroy Maguraushe, see the Luton News/Dunstable Gazette on sale tomorrow.
