Tynesiders to Heed to Town

HATTERS: Luton Town will face Blue Square Bet Premier play-off hopefuls Gateshead in the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy.

The Heed edged past Alfreton Town 2-1 on Tuesday night and Tynesiders boss Ian Bogie believes his side can upset the Hatters at Kenilworth Road.

Speaking before the game, Bogie said: “We just want this game to be played so we can move on, and try to get through to a quarter-final tie against Luton Town away.

“That’s a big incentive, and there’s still a great chance for us.

“I believe we can win the home game against Alfreton and if that’s the case, go to Luton and win. That’s what we’ve got to believe.”
