Walker Eagles return is unlikely says Hatters boss
Hatters attacker Dan Walker
EAGLES: Luton Town manager Gary Brabin has all but ruled out a return to the Eyrie for attacker Dan Walker.
Eagles chief Ady Hall had admitted he would love to take the sidelined Luton player back on loan but, with the ex-Eagle still recovering from a knee operation, Brabin thinks it’s unlikely.
Brabin said: “Dan’s had a slight little operation on his knee, nothing major, just a minor little one. We are hoping to get him back running in the next three or four weeks.
“I’ve not spoken to the Bedford people about that. We’ve had interest from clubs in this division for Dan Walker.
“There’s always people showing interest in anyone who is not in our first 11 at the time.
“Some people are showing interest in people who are playing in our first 11.
“You are always going to get that. At this moment in time it’s still a long way off considering him going out on loan to anyone, let alone Bedford, although I’ve not spoken to anyone.”
