Hatters striker Mark Cullen was thrilled to find the net on his 50th appearance for the club at Hartlepool on Saturday.
The 22-year-old made it five league goals for the season with his first half finish as he said: “I didn’t realise that (milestone) and hopefully I get a few more.
“It was really pleasing to play that many games in a successful season last year and we’re not doing too shabby this year, so hopefully that continues.”
Cullen latched on to Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu’s through ball just before the break to finish clinically past Pools keeper Scott Flinders.
He now has five league goals to his name, a feat that took him until March to achieve last season and believed debutant Ricky Miller plus fellow scorer Jim Stevenson deserved praise for their performances.
