Hatters striker Mark Cullen has urged his side to continue their promotion form at struggling Hartlepool United this weekend.
Town make the long trip north on the back of four straight wins, while they have gone six matches unbeaten, conceding just one goal to climb to fourth in the the table.
Cullen, who scored his fourth of the campaign in the 2-0 win over Southend on Saturday, said: “We started similar last season.
“We have a tough pre-season and sometimes it does take a while for us to get going but once we have, we’ve stream-rolled teams.
“That’s six games unbeaten and that’s top-four form no matter what league you’re in.
“There’s no reason, with the way we’re playing, why we can’t continue our run of form.”
Cullen, who was born in Ashington, is Town’s leading scorer this season and puts his good form in front of goal down to the strength of the squad assembled by manager John Still.
