Luton Town have requested an additional allocation of tickets for their League Two visit to Notts County at the weekend.

The Hatters received an initial amount of 938 seats for the trip to Meadow Lane which they have now sold out.

Town have asked for extra tickets and they are now on general sale online and from the ticket office until 2pm on Friday.

Defender Luke Wilkinson was quick to hail Hatters’ travelling army of supporters this season after 1,425 went to Cambridge on Saturday, saying: “We’ve started slower than we wanted to, but they’ve been absolutely fantastic, filling the away end.

“I know Cambridge is a local-ish game, but even if we’re further away, they’d have probably taken over 1,000.

“They’ve stuck with us and hopefully we can repay them with some more victories soon.”
