Luke Wilkinson

Mark Tyler: 7.5 - Brave save from Elliott in the first half and came off his line well to punch clear late on.

Alex Lacey: 7.5 - Solid once more and slotted seamlessly into right back after Williams’ injury.

Luke Wilkinson: 8 - Rest has done him a world of good as he was an imposing presence in defence.

Steve McNulty: 7.5 - After a nervy few opening moments, settled down and relished the aerial battle with Elliott.

Curtley Williams: 5.5 - Struggling with injury and have to come off midway through the first half.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 8- Stunning second half display as United couldn’t deal with him. Won the penalty and sent a rocket against the bar.

Jim Stevenson: 7 - Really showing his capabilities now as he proved he can be relied upon in the big games.

Luke Guttridge: 7 - Didn’t see a lot of the ball in the first half but kept Town ticking over after the break.

Scott Griffiths: 7 -Left back attacked when possible and kept Donaldson quiet for long periods.

Alex Wall: 5.5 - First start of the season but was often trying too hard to impress. Subbed at the right time as Cambridge were definitely targeting him.

Mark Cullen: 6.5 - Touch of fortune when his penalty rebounded straight to him, but another lively performance.

Andy Drury (SUB): 7.5 - So calm in possession and his introduction allowed Town to gain a real foothold.

Ross Lafayette (SUB): 6.5 - Harshly booked after coming on, but a willing outlet.

Matt Robinson (SUB): 6 - Back after suspension and thrown on to run down the clock.
