Dean Brill: 7.5 – Came for crosses well and his frustration at conceding a late goal was audible.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 7 – Defended diligently all evening and burst forward on occasion too.

Alex Lawless: 7 – Always comfortable in possession and made one brilliant sliding intervention.

Jon Shaw: 6.5 – Good to see the striker back and his aerial prowess led to two assists.

Simon Ainge: 7 – Valuable minutes for the centre half who looked a threat from set-plays.

Adam Watkins: 6.5 – Much needed run-out and held his own in midfield.

Alex Lacey: 6.5 – Bright start and so disappointing his evening ended early.

JJ O’Donnell: 7.5 – Cracking strike for the opener and looked dangerous on the left wing.

James Dance: 6.5 – Great for Dance to be out there from the beginning once more. Came close to a goal too.

Matt Robinson: 7 – Got through plenty of donkey work to break up Magpies’ attacks.

Dan Walker: 7.5 – Two cool finishes and always a threat.

Jake Howells (sub): 6.5 – Slotted in at left back with ease.

Stuart Fleetwood (sub): 6 – Would have scored but for a heavy touch.

Jake Woolley (sub): 5.5 – Late chance to stretch his legs.
