Hatters defender Andy Parry came within a minute of helping AFC Telford earn an FA Cup second round replay at League One leaders Bristol City on Sunday afternoon.

The utility player was booked as Kieran Agard’s injury-time winner saw the Robins through to round three.

Midfielder Solomon Taiwo wasn’t included as Dover Athletic earned a shock win at Cheltenham Town, managed by ex-Hatters boss Paul Buckle, with former Luton defender Connor Essam scoring the winner.

Striker Alex Wall came on after 63 minutes for Bristol Rovers during their 0-0 draw at Welling United in the Vanarama Conference, a result that saw the Pirate moves up to second in the table.

Forward Lee Angol celebrated winning the Vanarama Conference South player of the month award with another two goals for Boreham Wood in their 3-0 victory over Hayes & Yeading.

Angol opened the scoring on 14 minutes, before netting from the penalty spot with 15 minutes to go, his 15th of an increasingly impressive season.

Midfielder Charlie Smith played just over an hour for St Albans City as they won 1-0 against Bath City in the same division.

Youngster Ian Rees made his debut for Hitchin Town as a second half substitute during the Canaries 1-0 win over Poole Town in Southern League Premier Division, while Isaac Galliford was an unused sub.

Mark Onyemah came off the bench after 59 minutes to score the final goal of Thurrock’s 3-0 win over Wroxham in Ryman One South.
