Striker Craig Mackail-Smith finally netted his 100th goal for Peterborough in their 2-1 League One home defeat against Oxford United at the weekend.

The 33-year-old had to wait almost six years to reach the milestone after his last goal against Huddersfield in May 2011, but side-footed into the bottom corner as a last-minute consolation for the Posh.

Frankie Musonda had 90 minutes for Braintree as they were involved in a six goal thriller at Solihull Moors in the National League.

The visiting Iron led 3-0 after just 25 minutes, before Moors netted three times to ensure a share of the spoils, including twice in the final 15 minutes.

Craig King played for Southport as they lost 2-1 to relegation rivals Torquay United at home.

The visitors were in front in the first half, before former Hatter Jim Stevenson, on loan from Dover Athletic, levelled for the Sandgrounders moments into the second period.

However, in the final minute, King was beaten when Torquay won it through Ruairi Keating’s strike.

Keeper Liam Gooch had the full game as Kettering were held to a 1-1 draw at home by St Ives Town in the Southern League Premier Division.

Youth teamer Harry Bean also played the full match for Dunstable Town as they were beaten 2-0 at home by Biggleswade Town.
