Ruddock Mpanzu starts for Hatters at Mansfield

Midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu is in for only his second start of the season as Hatters boss Nathan Jones made six changes for the trip to Mansfield at the One Call Stadium this afternoon.

The 23-year-old hasn’t featured for Luton since injuring his ankle in the 2-1 defeat to Plymouth on October 24, and joins Paddy McCourt, Elliot Justham, Craig Mackail-Smith, Cameron McGeehan and new signing Alan Sheehan in the Town starting 11.

Danny Green (ankle), Mark Tyler (back) and Ryan Hall (ankle) all missed out, while Paul Benson and Jack Marriott dropped to the bench with Magnus Okuonghae missing out completely.
