Hatters boss John Still has urged Town fans to create a special atmosphere when Portsmouth visit Kenilworth Road this afternoon.
With the game a sell-out, as over 10,000 supporters are expected, Still, speaking after another huge away following was behind his side at Wycombe, said: “The stronger the team, the stronger the team and that’s our team.
“We expect that now, because that’s what they do and they’ll be behind the team on Sunday.
“It’s absolutely fantastic. To come out in these conditions (at Wycombe) as well, to get behind their team and never stop, even when we were behind, thankyou very much.”
Meanwhile, Boxing Day goalscorer Jonathan Smith added: “It seemed like there were Luton fans all over the ground when I scored.
“They were all down the side and fair play to them. We’ve got a lot of support and that helps us definitely.”
