Luton Town keeper Mark Tyler received glowing praise after his match-winning late save against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
With the clock ticking into injury time, the 37-year-old displayed superb reflexes to reach Kayode Odejayi’s downward header and claw it aside for a corner.
First team coach Hakan Hayrettin said: “That’s why he’s still playing at the age he’s playing at.
“He worked hard at his game pre-season and he’s sharp, very sharp.
“He can carry on for a few more years hopefully as he’s there to do a job and he did it.”
Meanwhile, on Tyler, who will make his 250th appearance for Luton if selected at Burton Albion this Saturday, striker Ricky Miller added: “He’s different class, he’s my travel buddy and his quality speaks for itself.”
