High hopes for Hatch ahead of Forest Green game
Target man is Town's only real doubt
Barring Luton's long-term absentees the only doubt ahead of tomorrow night's clash against Forest Green is target man Liam Hatch.
The target man was forced during Saturday 3-2 win at Hayes & Yeading and manager Richard Money admitted the Hatters are trying to wrap him in cotton wool as he is still looking to regain his match fitness after a second ankle operation.
Captain Kevin Nicholls will also be missing as he prepares for surgery on his troublesome knee injury.
Speaking about Hatch, Money said: "We hope he will be OK and give him every chance.
"If Hatch didn't pull through tomorrow we are fortunate we still have a decent group of strikers to choose from, which one or two other teams might not have to.
"He is at the stage where we are just wrapping him up in cotton wool."
On the challenge of Forest Green, Money said: "The fact they have gone and beaten York 2-1 on Saturday goes to show it's another tough game.
"It's really about how you approach the games yourselves. We will give them respect because I know they are a good team.
"They've got a lot of mobility in their team. Their manager likes to play with quite a lot of rotation in midfielder."
Money revealed that their opponents have played both 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 in recent weeks and was unsure how they would line up against the Hatters.
He added: "They've got some good players who on their day can be as good as anyone else in the division.
"We've got to make sure we are mentally tough, strong and play the game in the right manner."
