Kent hit Loughton Manor for six

Kent Athletic continued to move towards the SSML Division Two title with a 6-2 win at Loughton Manor on Tuesday night.

Pat Daly scored another brace, while Jason Penman, Deon Putnam, Matthew Terry and Connor Waite all netted.

The result saw Kent remain top of the table, but only by one point from Old Bradwell United, who thumped The 61 FC (Luton) 5-0 on the same evening.

Totternhoe were also in action, as they stayed seventh with a goalless draw at second bottom side Clean Slate.

At the weekend, Kent Athletic came out on top in a 12-goal thriller as they triumphed 7-5 at Wolverton Town.

Athletic had led 4-2 at one stage, before trailing 5-4 and then scoring three times late on to emerge victorious, with goals from Daly (3), Simon Richards (2), Waite and Steven Redmond.

Totternhoe were beaten 1-0 at home by Old Bradwell at the weekend.

Kent have a huge match tomorrow night, as they host third placed and title rivals Hale Leys United, before they then travel to second bottom Grendon Rangers at the weekend.

Totternhoe host Loughton Manor on Saturday and then face Hale Leys in the Division Two Cup final on Monday, the same day The 61 FC (Luton) head to Tring Corinthians.

They head to Wolverton Town this weekend with Totternhoe visiting Mursley United.

The 61 FC also host New Bradwell St Peter on Monday.
