Alex Lawless in action at FC Halifax

Mark Tyler: 6 - Rare nervy display from the keeper as he raced out of his goalmouth on numerous occasions.

Ronnie Henry: 6.5 - Captain was solid enough at the back as Town found it tough going at times.

Scott Griffiths: 6 - Defender had his hands full with the threat of Adam Smith all game long and couldn’t get forward as he has done.

Fraser Franks: 6 - Lost his man for the Shaymen’s opener and then backpedalled allowing Gregory to kill the game off in the second half.

Steve Mcnulty: 6.5 - Rare mistake for the second goal, but stood his ground well with the aerial bombardment from the hosts.

Cameron McGeehan: 6 - Never able to have the same sort of impact he did against Grimsby.

Matt Robinson: 6 - Another who struggled to cope with the power and directness of the hosts.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 6.5 - Looked to break forward whenever he could in the first period, but his influence waned after the break.

Alex Lawless: 6 - One early shot that was charged down and saw plenty of the ball in the first half, but couldn’t create any meaningful chances.

Andre Gray: 6 - Rare off day for the striker who too often tried to do things the hard way.

Paul Benson: 6 - Another who wasn’t quite up to recent performances.

Mark Cullen (Sub): 5.5 - Brought on to pep up the attack, but Town conceded almost immediately.

Luke Rooney (Sub): 5.5 - On for the last 15 minutes couldn’t break through.
