Hatters midfielder JJ O’Donnell played 90 minutes as Gateshead strengthened their Skrill Premier play-off claims with a 1-0 win at Hereford on Saturday, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Tynesiders have now won six from their last seven games, to sit in fourth place.

Jim Stevenson played for Dartford as their relegation worries increased with a 1-0 home defeat against Forest Green Rovers.

Shaun Whalley helped AFC Telford remain top of Skrill North with a 1-0 win at Colwyn Bay, as he was replaced in the closing stages.

Brett Longden was an unused sub as Maidenhead United were held to a 0-0 draw by Tonbridge Angels in Skrill South.

Charlie Smith played from the start as Hitchin held Calor Southern League Premier leaders Hemel Hempstead to a 0-0 draw, while striker Jake Woolley was on the bench as St Neots won 2-1 at Weymouth.

Young defender Jerome Jibodu played as Dunstable Town lost 2-0 at Kettering Town in Division One Central.
