New signings are imminent for Hatters boss
The Hatters chief has been locked in negotiations during a ‘hectic’ fortnight with potential signings to improve his first team squad at Kenilworth Road.
Speaking exclusively to the News/Gazette, Jones is delighted with the work that has been done to make sure his prime targets have been secured, saying: “It’s been a hectic few weeks, but we’ve had a very productive time. Negotiations are ongoing to strengthen the squad and we have our targets.

“At the end of the season we had to talk to the ones we had to let go and move on, certain things were surprising in term of Paddy (McCourt) and Elliot (Justham) which we hadn’t fathomed for, but it’s all being done.
“It’s coming together after two weeks of really working, we’ve managed to talk to our specific targets we want. We know the players we want, know the positions we want.
“Hopefully in a weeks time we’ll be able to announce some signings.”
