Unseeded Hatters could face Villa in EFL Cup

Hatters could face former Premier League Aston Villa in the EFL Cup when the draw for the first round takes place this afternoon.

Luton have been unseeded in the southern section of the competition, which is based on league positions from last season, and will be paired with one of 18 seeded teams which include Villa, Nathan Jones’ former side Brighton, plus the likes of Fulham and QPR.

The draw which will be broadcast live from Sky Sports’ studios, will take place at 1pm, with Town fans be able to follow the draw on skysports.com and the Sky Sports apps, as well as on the official EFL Cup Facebook page and the Sky Sports Facebook page.
