Hatters boss John Still has confirmed the club are still in the race to sign midfielder Andy Drury from Crawley Town.
Luton had a bid turned down for the former Town player last week, but Still admitted they will go back in with another offer.
He said: “I think we’ll revisit it, that isn’t one we’ve discarded at the moment.
“They’ll (Crawley) want to speak to the player and he has to have a say.
“If it happens it happens, if it doesn’t, we’ll just move on to the next one.
Hatters had seen their first bid rejected as Crawley managing director Michael Dunford confirmed it fell well short of their valuation.
Still admitted he will have a big role to play in any improved offer the club make.
