Hatters boss John Still remains hopeful of finding midfielder Arnaud Mendy a new club, writes Mark Wood.
On the future of the 23-year-old Guinea-Bissau international who has played 28 times for Luton, Still added: “While he’s here we’ll do everything we can to keep him as fit as we can, so if something comes up for him he’s not going to lack for fitness.
“But we’ll have to wait and see, there may be something for him when the window opens, be it loan or whatever.
“We’re anxious for him to get some games in somewhere.”
