Far-sighted Hatters chief John Still was glad to have signed a one-year contract extension through to the summer of 2015.
The deal also features an extra year for every additional promotion.
Still said: “It’s something that we’ve spoken about. I’ve never been a manager where I’ve been anywhere for a year.
“I know what it’s like in the game now and I think that possibly when we all met here and decided that this was the place I wanted to come, people have bought into the way I believe is the right way of doing it.”
