Hatters boss John Still will wait and see what happens to the managerial situation at Norwich City before contacting the club about a permanent deal for midfielder Cameron McGeehan.
The 19-year-old had an inspired loan spell at Kenilworth Road as Town romped to the Skrill Premier title, scoring three times in 18 games.
The Canaries, who will be plying their trade in the Championship next season after being relegated, are expected to name a new manager shortly.
On whether he will be getting in touch with City, Still said: “We’ll definitely have a chat, but I don’t know who to have a chat with at the moment, so we’ll have to sit back and see what happens.”
