Shamrock BC have had to postpone their show at the Redemption show that was scheduled to take place at Wonderworld, Xscape in Milton Keynes this weekend due to injuries.

Ryan Nandha suffered concussion after falling down a flight of stairs, while he also damaged his shoulder and hip too, leaving him out for four weeks.

Meanwhile, top of the bill Tom Little suffered ligament damage over the weekend and has been ruled out for two months.

The postponement signalled further disappointment for Luton boxer Marco Stephenson too as promoted Mervyn Turner said: “He showed a lot of determination and focus for this fight, putting in a lot of time in the gym.”

Turner is hopeful the show will go ahead in the new year and the full story, see the News/Gazette on sale now.
