Action returns to Newlands Road on Saturday as Luton Rugby Club entertain Eton Manor.

Manor currently sit second in the London One North table with 102 points whereas Luton are ninth with 52 points

“Our goals for the season are still the same, which is aiming for a cup final win and a top half finish.”

Luton are looking to bounce straight back from a disappointing defeat away to Chingford last weekend but they face a big task against the in-form visitors.

Recent back-to-back defeats against Chingford and Ruislip will have dented the home side’s confidence having had a reasonable start to this year.

The last time the two sides met, Luton came up short losing 17-14 at the New Wilderness ground.

Chairman Mark Turner said: “We have always had close games with Eton Manor and I will tell you now, any game is never played on form or paper in this sport.

“We were disappointed with the Chingford result but we are looking to come back strong with a bang.
